Inspiration.

Today i was reading about a book from a philanthropist (Sudha Murthy). I was totally inspired by her gratitute towards one great man, philanthropist, business man, Educationalist, Achiever, Diligent, Pioneer . What best words can describe him. Then i through of reading his history. The achievements he did and the work he did for our country is quite amazing. I thought this may inspire. this is his life history



1904: Birth of a great men for india(29 July).

1925: Joined Tata & sons as unpaid apprentice.

1929: Tata obtained first pilot license in india.

1932: Founded Tata Airlines . India's first commercial airline.

1932: Trustee for Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (for over half a century)

1936: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS)

1938: Elected Chairman of Tata & Sons.(Steel, Engineering, Power,

Chemicals and Hospitality).

1941: Tata Memorial Center for Cancer, Research and Treatment.

1945: Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).National Center for Performing Arts.

1945: Tata Motors.

1946: Tata Airlines becomes Air India.

1948: Launched Air India International.

1953: Appointed as Chairman of Air India, Director of Board of Indian Airlines. (A position retained for 25 years)

1956: He initiated a program of closer 'employee association with management' to give workers a stronger voice in the affairs of the company. He firmly believed in employee welfare and espoused the principles of an eight-hour working day, free medical aid, workers' provident scheme, and workmen's accident compensation schemes, which were later, adopted as statutory requirements in India.

1957: Received Padma Vihushan.

1968: Tata Consultancy Services.

1979: Tata Steel.

1987: Titan Industries, Tata Steel Township.

1988: Guggenheim Medal for Aviation.

1992: Bharat Ratna Award.

1993: Death of great men.
